About Martin
I am a Belgian biomedical engineer and native French speaker, currently based in Grafton. I have a strong academic background in mathematics, science, biology and engineering, and I enjoy making complex topics easier to understand.
My teaching style is patient, clear and encouraging. I know that many students are capable, but lose confidence when they have to work alone. My goal is to help them rebuild strong foundations, understand the logic behind each topic, and become more independent.
I am serious, reliable and well-organized. I prepare my lessons according to each student’s needs and always try to create a calm environment where they feel comfortable asking questions.

I adapt each lesson to the student’s level, goals and confidence. My approach is calm, structured and practical: I first identify what the student already understands, then we rebuild the missing foundations step by step with clear explanations and guided exercises.
For Maths and Science, I focus on understanding the logic behind the topic rather than memorising formulas. I use examples, diagrams and progressive exercises so the student can move from “I understand when someone explains it” to “I can do it by myself”.
For French, as a native French speaker from Belgium, I can help with grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, conversation practice and school assignments. I can adapt the lesson for beginners, school students or adults who want to improve their confidence speaking French.
I am a biomedical engineer with a strong background in mathematics, physics, biology and engineering sciences. I also have previous experience helping students who struggle with confidence and need patient, step-by-step explanations.
My lessons are suitable for primary and high school students, especially Years 7–10, as well as beginners or adults learning French.
