About Lydia
I am very passionate about languages. I speak Arabic (native), French (bilingual) and English (professional competency) and would like to tutor others who are also interested in learning, particularly Arabic.
I am a schoolteacher by training and was teaching English language at a primary school in Algeria up until I arrived in the UK. I have both bachelor’s and master’s in English language. Prior to that, I studied Arabic for 13 years.
I look forward to teaching as many students as possible as I am passionate about my native language and I believe, Arabic is beautiful and has so much to offer!

Through my education, teaching and training I have developed methods to effectively teach young students, and I believe I could effectively teach adults from all ages. My teaching is interactive, realistic and pragmatic in nature. For instance, I will teach Arabic with materials that the learner is able to relate themselves to. In this way, learning will be relevant and interesting, and potentially, impactful.
