About Mia
I have been studying languages for 5 years and took Afrikaans as a home language subject and AP subject in high school. My love for Afrikaans language and literature is one that has only grown over the years, culminating in my Honours in Translation thesis, where I translated a Spanish play into Afrikaans.

I have experience teaching online and in person and am able to target specific points that students struggle with. For some, Afrikaans is the subject they need to polish a bit and for others it is akin to a foreign languge. I accommodate all levels of speakers and make languges accessible.
