About Olivia
Hi! My name is Tess Riley, and I am a second-year student pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Over the past year and a half, I have gained valuable experience as a tutor, honing my skills in a diverse range of subjects including ACT preparation, Precalculus, Physics, and Calculus. This experience has equipped me with the ability to not only explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner but also to inspire my students to develop a passion for learning. My teaching approach is highly personalized and tailored to the needs of each individual student. I'm Olivia's roommate, and she's helped me a lot with my chemistry and statistics classes! I'm a humanities major, so these classes are super out of my element. She was willing to sit down with me and walk me through problems in an easy-to-understand way even though math and science aren't my best subjects at all. I did great on my midterms and I think Olivia helped a lot with it!! She is very helpful and passionate about teaching others.
