About Molly
I am currently studying Drama and Creative Writing at The University of Salford. I have an A-level in English literature and GCSE's in both English literature and Language.
Throughout school I volunteered as a reading mentor and because of this I have experience in helping people who have struggled to read at the same level as their peers and helping those who struggled to understand concepts within literature as quickly as other members of their class. This is a role that I thoroughly enjoyed and one which taught me patience and gave me the ability to work around problems and find new ways of solving them, even if it means moving out of my own comfort zone to best help the pupil.
In my degree, I am a peer leader, which means that I am responsible for listening to my fellow students and reporting back to our tutors and faculty members about any issues they may have and helping to resolve them. In this role I have learnt how to work effectively with both staff and students to create a helpful communicative environment in which all parties feel respected and happy. This is a skill that I believe helps me greatly in my ability to teach and help others.
