About Madeline Lily
My teaching experience primarily comes from running biology and chemistry focused courses for high school students that teach research skills and inquisitive thinking. When I’m not teaching, I’m a scientific researcher who works in a lab to better understand how biology and chemistry influence microbial interactions.

My methods of tutoring mostly focus on helping you to think about chemistry in different ways. I’m skilled in breaking down complicated concepts into lots of simple ideas. I’m open to catering to many different learning styles and needs—let’s figure out how you learn together, whether you’re struggling to understand concepts or just want extra practice. I also help students to create study schedules so they can approach quizzes and exams with confidence.
