About Anne-marie
After matric, I worked as a Business Analyst for one of South Africa's leading banks for about 11 years, and then as a Short Term Insurance representative at a broker's office for almost 8 years. I obtained various qualifications in the financial industry, as well as completed my certificates in Health & Safety, and Environmental management. I believe that knowledge can never be taken away from you.
I am TEFL accredited and I have been homeschooling my daughter for the past four years (grade 5 to grade 8), teaching English and Afrikaans, together with all the other school subjects.

As a homeschooling mom, I have access to various learning materials for Afrikaans and English. I understand that it might be difficult to learn a new language, but I am always patient. I believe in conversational teaching combined with writing and reading activities, and I also believe in learning through repetition.
