About Tovin
I’m a professional violist with the National Arts Centre Orchestra in Ottawa, and I hold a Master’s degree from Rice University Shepherd School of Music. I love working with serious musicians and sharing the experience I’ve gained through performing, studying, auditions, and teaching. I aim to create a supportive, relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, experimenting, and becoming the musician they want to be.

We can work on technique, sound, musical interpretation, repertoire, orchestral excerpts, and performance skills, with an emphasis on developing your own musical voice and confidence.
