About Bella
My teaching approach is rooted in discovery, self-expression, and the joy of sound exploration. I encourage students to connect with music on a personal level, guiding them to find their own voice through the piano. Using creative methods like guided improvisation, call-and-response games, and storytelling through music, we make each lesson a space for imagination and expression. We also explore layered sound textures, helping students shape rich, emotional landscapes through their playing. Along the way, we dive into important techniques such as pedal control, tone balance, and dynamic shaping. These tools help students create music that breathes with feeling and precision. I support learners who are curious, emotionally intuitive, and eager to grow both technically and creatively. Whether you're drawn to the piano as a form of release or as a platform for pop-inspired creativity, there’s a place for you here. Lessons are paced to fit your comfort while gently pushing you to new levels of depth. Together, we'll discover what music means to you. With over a decade of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education (Piano), I bring passion and purpose to every piano lesson. I specialize in group instruction, where students explore the joy of duets, ensembles, and band-style keyboard roles that go far beyond traditional solo playing. My teaching emphasizes collaboration, rhythmic groove, and building confident performers who can shine on any stage.
I love creating a dynamic, supportive environment where students learn to listen, sync, and groove together. Whether it’s jazz, pop, or classical fusion, I help each student find their unique place in the music. My lessons are designed to build not only technique, but also trust and timing among players.
Many of my students have gone on to wow audiences at school talent shows and local community events. Seeing them light up the stage with pride and confidence is what keeps me inspired.
