About Owen
Hello! I am Owen and music has been a part of my life ever since the wee age of 5. I am 18 years old and a passionate musician who loves helping people discover the joy of music. My journey started at age 5 with the violin and continued into the exploration of other instruments like the guitar, piano, drums and eventually the saxophone in secondary school! I am currently doing an undergraduate degree online at Berklee College of Music for Music Production and Songwriting.
I especially enjoy teaching beginners of all ages, and I believe learning music should feel exciting, comfortable and rewarding. In my lessons, students can expect a supportive space where it's okay to make mistakes, ask questions and grow at their own pace.
For me, music is NOT about being perfect. It's about expressing yourself, building confidence and having fun along the way.

I offer music lessons for beginners of all ages in a supportive environment. Each lesson will typically last 45 minutes to 1 hour, focusing on building strong musical foundations while keeping learning fun and motivating.
As the former President of my secondary school's symphonic band, I bring structured guidance into my teaching. To me, the foundations of music including rhythm training, proper technique, basic notation reading and ear training are crucial. Lessons are tailored to each student's pace to build confidence and musical expression. The most important thing is to enjoy yourself and have fun in the process. Perfection should not be the end goal, progress should be.
