About Jared
I am a recent graduate of Duquesne University's Mary Pappert School of Music and received a degree in Classical Saxophone Performance. I am also an accomplished collaborative pianist and have performed concerts and recitals throughout Pennsylvania, New York, and Italy. I have a passion for music theory and enjoy understanding the music I perform on a deeper, technical level.

As a teacher, I do not like to provide answers to problems but instead provide a process which the student can use to solve the problem themselves; I view myself as a guide. I try to let the student guide the lesson because each student their own idea of what they would like out of a lesson. Some may come with work they are confused and others may have no knowledge of the subject and would like to be taught from the ground up. Regardless of the situation, I am happy to tailor my teaching to the student's needs.
