Music Graduate (Durham University, First-Class Honours) offering piano and general musicianship lessons

Sophie Nolan is a superb teacher of various subjects within the field of music. Sophie has helped improve my skills both academically and practically:
Academically - Sophie has a keen attention to detail, and an inquisitive mind, making sure the pupil is well-grounded in their subject matter
Practically - Prior to my lessons with Sophie I had played piano for a number of years, mainly as an accompanist/sight reader. I went to Sophie wishing to improve my technical ability as a pianist and she most definitely delivered. The lessons prepared by Sophie have got me well on the way to completing my grade 8 in Piano.
Overall, Sophie is a fun and dedicated teacher and is suitable for all age groups.

I've known Sophie for several years now, and I can confirm that she is a very informative and friendly teacher. We met at university, and she has taught me so much about music, which is a hobby of mine. Would highly recommend.
