About Yvonne
I have been a qualified teacher for 30 years. 28 of them I spent teaching in mainstream primary schools, the past couple of years I have diversified into special education where I teach music. I have witnessed first hand how music can enhance mood but can also facilitate with communication and autonomy. I have seen inspirational moments where the drive to play a sound on an instrument has triggered a movement in a child that wasn't considered possible! Music transcends all areas of learning in school and in life.
