About Lukas
I am a music education student at DePaul with 5 years of piano playing experience and 10 years of woodwind experience. Through this instruction, I have developed a strong knowledge of music theory and history. In terms of teaching, I was a teacher's assistant at the K. Donelaitis Lithuanian language Saturday school for 2 years where I worked with third and fourth graders. This summer, I will be a lead camp counselor at a woodworking camp. Teaching is my passion, and I choose to do it through music!

Individualized lessons are extremely important in the beginning years of learning to play a musical instrument. A knowledgeable music instructor can help form good habits, develop a technical fluency, and encourage student curiosity outside of private lessons. Teaching beginning piano and woodwind lessons is exciting to me because the skills learned will be carried not only into future musical pursuits, but into non-musical applications as well.
