About Lio
I have over 20 years of experience in playing piano.
I graduated from the University of West Florida with my Bachelors in Music Education with Magna Cum Laude in 2021. I served as both a section leader and president for UWF’s choir.
I have experience teaching both private lessons and in the classroom. I also have experience as a collaborative pianist, accompanying middle school and high school choirs, as well as soloists.

My methods are personalized to you, to help you understand the information in the way that makes the most sense to you! We take things at your own pace. In music, it’s important to take the time to make sure you understand the concepts presented to you. Everyone learns at their own pace in their own way!
A typical lesson includes warm ups, exercises (including techniques and theory) and repertoire.
Music should be fun! While I will have a structured curriculum that’s tailored to you, I also love hearing what your own personal goals are. Whether it be wanting to learn a specific song, play style, or even trying to come up with your own music - I encourage creativity and exploration!
I believe learning music should be available to everyone. Beginner or advanced, young or old, degree driven or just for fun - anyone is welcome!
