About Sachin
I grew up in Manchester and studied a variety of classes at the Royal Northern College of Music for 13 years. My love of teaching grew from working with the children on the Young Strings programme at the RNCM. I currently work at Junior Conservatoire departments and with the outreach team at Trinity Laban on a variety of projects with young people.
I study a range of modules at Trinity Laban from solo performance, group performing, music history and theory. I have experience playing with a variety of orchestras, highlights include the Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra and the Halle Youth Orchestra. I am also frequently in the studio collaborating with various artists as a session musician.
I have participated in masterclasses with artists such as Jan Schmolck and Christine Croshaw and won awards for my playing such as the Leonard Smith & Felicity Young prize with my duo partner.

I can teach ABRSM/Trinity grades including pieces, scales, how to sight read and general music theory.
Lessons can range between 30 minutes and an hour - whatever suits you the best.
A typical lesson for beginners might look like some basic technical work, some musicianship and then applying that knowledge to repertoire.
For more advanced players, a lesson might consist of honing in on certain technical aspects of playing as well as exploring the relationship we have to practicing the violin.
