About Eoin
I am a Music graduate from the University of Birmingham, with two years of undergraduate study in Mathematics also, now working in Music Admin at UoB, giving 1-1 tuition in both Music and Mathematics alongside this.
Whilst completing my A-Levels, I gave 1-1 tuition to several GCSE students in both Music and Maths, helping one student jump from predicted Grade D to achieving Grade A in Maths in just 6 months.
I have completed a University module in Music Education, and have had practical experience giving singing lessons, and working in a music classroom environment. Before coming to University, I gave up my free periods to assist the Music teacher in the delivery of Music lessons for Year 7 - 11 pupils.
Personally, I have received violin lessons for over 10 years, achieving Grade 6, singing lessons for 8 years, achieving Grade 8, and majoring in Solo Vocal Performance in my final year at UoB, and have had piano lessons for 8 years also, achieving Grade 7. I also have my Grade 5 theory, Grade A in GCSE and A-Level Music, and a 2.1 in Music from UoB.

I am a friendly, supportive and nurturing tutor, giving lessons up to A-level standard in Music and high quality vocal lessons.
I like to give students as much opportunity to develop on their own, by teaching techniques and methods, setting questions/pieces to enforce this learning, and then supporting through further direction in phrasing and performance related matters where necessary.
