About Maddy
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Multiple Subjects Teaching in 2018 with a 4.0 GPA. My love for lifelong learning and the English language fully blossomed in 2016 when I became a freelance writer & copywriter. I want to use my passion and expertise in the world of tutoring.
My philosophy is to assist students who may be struggling or not reaching their full potential in certain content matter by using a growth mindset approach to learning. I am a firm believer that each and every one of us has potential; some of us just learn in a certain way or need to be reiterated a concept a little differently than others. There is nothing wrong with that!
Unfortunately, there are still educators out there who essentially set students up for failure and do not fully care about their students' success. As a tutor, I want to be a learner's "second chance" when a teacher or the school system failed them, giving them the confidence they need to love learning again.
