Grammar First: I begin with a thorough explanation of grammar, as it's essential for students to understand sentence structure, tenses, and word order. This allows them to form a solid base for effective communication.
Building Skills Step by Step: After mastering grammar, I move on to other language skills like listening, writing, and speaking. We practice each of these areas progressively, integrating the grammar learned in previous lessons.
Practical Materials: I use high-quality textbooks and a variety of supplementary materials, including worksheets, audio clips, and online exercises, to provide students with a well-rounded language learning experience.
Student-Centered Learning: Each lesson is tailored to the student’s needs and level. Whether they are preparing for exams, improving conversation skills, or starting from scratch, I adapt my teaching to help them achieve their specific goals.
Typical Lesson Plan:
Grammar Focus (20-30 minutes): I introduce and explain a specific grammatical concept, such as verb conjugation, sentence structure, or cases. We practice this concept through examples and exercises.
Practice & Application (20-30 minutes): I provide exercises where students apply what they've learned, reinforcing the grammar point and ensuring they can use it correctly in various contexts.
