About Redouane
I have been giving private 1-to-1 tuition for over 18 years and have tutored more than 1,000 students on both sides of the Rhine, the English Channel, the Atlantic and the Mediterranean.
I am a civil engineer, having obtained degrees from the following institutions:
- University of North Rhine-Westphalia (Civil Engineering at RWTH Aachen)
- School of Engineering at the University of Lille
(Geotechnical and Civil Engineering)
- Moroccan School of Engineering Sciences (Civil Engineering)
As a Franco-Moroccan and the son of a diplomat, I have travelled extensively and studied in France, Germany, the UK, the US and Morocco. This has enabled me to discover very different education systems and to truly open my mind to various learning methodologies.
Having studied at a preparatory school, I have a thorough grasp of the curricula for secondary school, sixth form and beyond (up to the equivalent of a bachelor degree or even master's degree) in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and English.
I have always been very sporty and have taken part in hundreds of athletics competitions and road running events (half-marathons and marathons).
Sport is incredibly effective when you want to boost your mental performance.
When it comes to helping someone achieve their goals, I place great emphasis on taking part in sport, whatever my student’s level.
Getting active and exercising as much as possible means equipping yourself to perform well in all areas of life, including your studies, as well as in your personal and professional lives.
I’m also a gymnast specialising in the rings and practise Kung Fu. I’m a die-hard fan of rugby and football too!

I have always placed great emphasis on methodology. I believe it is essential to learn and apply knowledge using methods tailored to the student and their natural aptitudes.
For example, the learning method varies depending on whether a student has a visual or auditory memory. We will opt for paper flashcards or audio recordings, as appropriate.
I am very observant and have a keen eye for detail. I therefore place great emphasis on rigour in writing and reasoning, which enables my students to quickly gain several marks that they tend to lose all too often through inattention and a lack of method. Rigour can work wonders very quickly.
I love teaching. It is my greatest passion, which is why I decided to make it my career. It is therefore rare for my students and I to get bored, because although I am demanding, I won’t hesitate to make people laugh to lighten the atmosphere.
I adopt an alternative and, above all, a highly adaptive teaching approach.
My greatest achievements is helping students who initially hated science or languages to develop a love for these subjects. And my primary motivation is to help my students realise their full potential so that they can flourish, both academically and personally.
Over the past 18 years, I have tutored more than a thousand pupils at secondary school, sixth form, preparatory classes, university, engineering colleges and business schools, on both sides of the English Channel, the Rhine and the Mediterranean.
I have mainly worked for major private tuition organisations.
Naturally, I was recruited on the basis of a knowledge test and an interview, which demonstrated my competence.
