About Vachan
I’m Vachan, an MSc Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Manchester. Explaining ideas has always helped me learn, so tutoring felt natural. In university and in Formula Student I often supported classmates and younger teammates, and I saw that a clear method and steady encouragement make the biggest difference. I’m calm, patient and organised. I prepare carefully, arrive on time and keep communication open with parents and students. After each lesson I share short notes so you know exactly what to revise. I teach GCSE and A Level Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Science. I work well with pupils rebuilding foundations as well as those aiming for top grades, and I’m happy to align with specific exam boards. Lessons are online or in Manchester, usually after 2 pm on weekdays and at weekends.

I tutor GCSE and A Level Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Science. I care about making tricky ideas feel simple and giving you small wins in every lesson. Sessions are calm and structured. We start with a quick check of where you are, learn a clear method together, then practise with past-paper style questions. We finish by writing a short recap so you know exactly what to revise. Lessons are usually 60 to 90 minutes. I’m an MSc Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Manchester who enjoys helping others make sense of problems. I support students rebuilding foundations and those aiming higher grades. I teach online or in person around Manchester, with availability on weekdays after 2 pm and at weekends.
