About Rita
Hello, I'm Rita, an MSc Health Psychology graduate, Health Psychology Practitioner, and BA (Hons) Psychology graduate. My passion for psychology grew from a genuine curiosity about why we think, feel, and behave the way we do—a curiosity that eventually became my career.
Alongside my academic background, I bring over 15 years of experience in management, mentoring, and supporting people to achieve meaningful goals. Throughout my career, I've worked in fast-paced environments, led teams, managed projects, and supported individuals facing a wide range of personal and professional challenges.
I also completed my psychology studies while raising two young children, balancing academic deadlines, family life, and everyday responsibilities. Experiencing these competing demands has given me a realistic understanding of stress, resilience, and the importance of sustainable habits—not just from textbooks, but through lived experience. Combined with my professional training in Health Psychology, this allows me to support others with empathy while using evidence-based approaches.
