About Ghazal
As a passionate and reliable tutor with a strong academic background, I am committed to helping students succeed in biology. With a Bachelor’s degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology and currently pursuing a Master’s in Precision Medicine (Cancer) at the University of Brighton, I bring both deep subject knowledge and practical experience to my teaching. My role as a laboratory demonstrator has allowed me to guide undergraduate students in microbiology and physiology, further refining my ability to explain complex topics clearly and patiently. I take a personalised and supportive approach to tutoring, ensuring that each lesson is tailored to the student's learning style, pace, and goals. I use a mix of visual aids, real-life examples, and active questioning to make complex biology topics easier to understand and more engaging. I also encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills, especially when preparing students for exams. A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, during which we review key concepts, work through practice questions, and address any difficulties the student may have. For longer-term support, I also help students build effective study habits and revision strategies. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology and am currently completing a Master's in Precision Medicine (Cancer) at the University of Brighton. I have over two years of teaching experience and currently work as a laboratory demonstrator, teaching undergraduate students microbiology and physiology lab techniques. My lessons are ideal for GCSE and A-Level biology students who want to deepen their understanding, improve their grades, or prepare for university-level science.
