About Akshata

Hi, I’m Akshata! I’m a Melbourne-based banking professional with a Master of Banking and Finance from Monash University. My work involves helping customers understand banking and lending, alongside coaching colleagues and supporting their development.

Having recently completed my master’s, I understand how challenging financial concepts can feel when you first encounter them. I enjoy breaking complicated ideas into clear, practical explanations and connecting theory to examples from everyday life.

I want to help students build confidence in finance through a patient, approachable learning environment where questions are always welcome.

About the lesson

Finance makes more sense when you can connect it to everyday decisions. My lessons combine clear explanations, practical examples and step-by-step calculations to help you understand both the concepts and how to apply them.

I hold a Master of Banking and Finance from Monash University and work in banking, with experience coaching colleagues and explaining financial concepts.

My online lessons typically run for 60 minutes and suit university students studying introductory finance, as well as adults looking to build their financial knowledge. Each session is tailored to your goals, whether you need to revisit a difficult topic, practise questions or prepare for an exam. You’re welcome to ask questions and learn at your own pace.
