I am a former researcher and physician experienced in teaching cell biology, physiology and genetics to undergraduate students. I gave lessons and tutored students for 2 years in 2011-2013. I gauge each individual student's learning style and areas needing help, typically by first having them explain the subjects in their own words and then filling in the gaps and clarifying concepts. I try to stay away from rote memorization or copy-pasted lesson plans.
