Hi, my name is James and I have an MA in French & Spanish from Glasgow University and a Diploma in Translation as awarded by the Chartered Institute of Linguists. I offer language tuition in a range of areas, but with particular emphasis on French, Spanish and English, accommodating all levels from Beginner to Advanced. My approach to a session's structure and content is a flexible one, dictated at all times by the specific needs of the student; this could entail basic conversation classes for first time learners or more detailed tuition with the focus on working through an academic curriculum tailored to exam preparation. I have always struggled with Spanish grammar but James made it so easy to learn and clear. Really helped me to understand the building blocks so that it was all just learning vocabulary from then on in.
Five out of Five! I have been having Spanish lessons with James for 3 months now and in that time I have learnt far more than one year in high school! James is very well organized and always has a plan for each lesson, along with interesting and useful homework tasks. Having spent a number of years living in Spain James also can talk about the cultural aspects of Spanish life which I found very interesting. James is also very flexible with lesson times & days so can tailor the lessons to my needs. I would highly recommend James to anyone looking to improve their Spanish.
