About Mia
I am a recent high school graduate accepted into MIT class of 2027 planning to major in mechanical engineering. I have always loved math and science, and have taken and scored 5 on AP Calculus BC, AP Physics C (Mechanics and E&M), AP Statistics, AP Computer Science, and other STEM and non-STEM courses. I have over 3 years of experience tutoring math in my community and have also worked as a local music teacher!

I give targeted, and detailed lessons tailored to the student's needs and concerns. Will begin by getting to know the student's strengths and weaknesses and building lesson plans around what the student most needs help with. In math and physics, I will help students understand the "whys" (derivation and application of formulas and methods) instead of just teaching the "hows" (mindlessly plugging in formulas). I have experience with and enjoy tutoring students in grades K-12!
