About Dario
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from MIT and have over ten years of experience teaching and tutoring Mathematics at top international schools across North America, Europe, and Asia.
I specialize in AP, IB, IGCSE, A Level and advanced high school Mathematics, including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, and Calculus. Over the years, I have worked with numerous students, often supporting those who needed a more precise, structured, and conceptually clear approach to succeed.
My teaching focuses on building a deep understanding of underlying concepts while developing strong problem-solving skills. I work closely with each student, using targeted exercises and past paper questions to identify gaps, strengthen foundations, and improve performance efficiently.

I began teaching while completing my studies in Mathematics, initially working with individual students and small groups.
Over time, this developed into a full professional path, including teaching positions at international schools and extensive one-on-one tutoring. I found that personalized teaching allows for a much deeper and more effective learning process, which is why I continue to focus on it.
I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from MIT, with a concentration in Philosophy from Harvard University.
In addition, I have over ten years of experience teaching and tutoring Mathematics across multiple curricula, including AP, IB, IGCSE and A Levels, in leading international schools and private settings.

I begin with a focused initial assessment to understand the student’s current level, strengths, and specific areas of difficulty. This includes reviewing recent work, identifying gaps in understanding, and clarifying academic goals.
Based on this, I define clear priorities and structure a plan tailored to the student. Sessions are typically centered around carefully selected problems, often from past papers, which allow us to address both technique and underlying concepts.
Throughout the process, I place strong emphasis on building a deep and independent understanding, so that the student gains confidence and is able to approach new problems effectively.
I have worked with a wide range of students, from those aiming for top academic performance to those who needed to rebuild their understanding from the ground up.
A significant part of my experience involves supporting students who had not progressed with previous tutors and required a more precise, structured, and conceptually clear approach.

IB Maths Analysis and Approaches - Dario is a great tutor.
