Hello. My name is Darren Bancroft. I have been a professional actor for over 30 years. A graduate of Rose Bruford, I have worked across all aspects of the industry, TV, Film, Theatre, Radio & Voice work. (concealed information) I am DBS checked.

Every actor has their own way of working, but ultimately are striving to achieve the same objective. The TRUTH of the character that they strive to portray. I can help you achieve that in a relaxed, encouraging, positive, environment, passing onto you all of the methods that I have acquired and developed over the years, working in the luxury of the Theatre rehearsal room and in the quick turnaround environment of Television. I offer help with audition technique, for both Theatre and TV, Camera technique, Script/Scene/Monologue breakdown, Character development, Confidence building. I offer a free 30 minute introductory session to help me to understand where you're at, learn a bit about you and what you're looking to achieve. I am happy to do this in person, over the phone, or via Zoom/FaceTime/Skype. This allows us to hit the ground running at your first session for which I will in preparation to learn and perform a monologue of your choice. I am happy to work on a one to one basis, in pairs or groups.
