About Heather
About Me: With a strong background in math education and student-centered learning, I’m passionate about helping learners shift from “I’m not a math person” to “I’ve got this.” My tutoring sessions blend patience, encouragement, and effective strategy in every lesson. I have worked in primary and middle school classrooms as a lead teacher since 2009, and continue to do so. Hands-on, core memory style learning is my goal; students remember what they enjoy. These lessons are followed by plenty of practice before moving on to real-world applications.
