About Nysear
Nysear is a passionate educator entering his third year at Barrie School as an MUS Math Teacher. His passion for teaching extends beyond the classroom, as he strives to leave a positive impact on every student he encounters. In addition to teaching math to middle schoolers, Nysear is actively involved in coaching various sports throughout the year. He coaches cross country in the fall, middle school basketball and assists with high school basketball in the winter, and coaches track in the spring. Nysear's commitment to student development doesn't end with the school year; during the summer, he can be found as a Barrie Travelers counselor, further enriching the lives of young individuals. With a total of six years of experience in education and counting, Nysear began his career in his hometown of Philadelphia, working as a behavioral support specialist and teacher before making the move to Maryland. He started as a mathematics teacher at Green Acres School, showcasing his versatility and dedication to making a difference in the lives of students.
