About Adam
As a Master’s student in Microbiology with a track record of top grades (including A*s in A-Level Biology, Chemistry, and Maths, and straight Grade 9s at GCSE) I bring a high level of academic expertise to every session. My background isn't just about achieving results on paper; it includes hands-on experience guiding and mentoring younger university students through complex practical work in the laboratory. This experience taught me exactly how to translate intricate, high-level science and mathematical logic into clear, manageable steps.
I approach tutoring with absolute professionalism, structure, and consistency. Every lesson I design follows a clear, purposeful plan that we map out together, ensuring that both students and parents always know exactly what progress is being made and what goals we are working towards. Because I have sat these exact exams myself and grown up immersed in a teaching environment, I know how to balance rigorous academic standards with a patient, highly relatable approach. My focus is entirely on creating an encouraging environment where no question is a bad question, helping students lower their exam anxiety, master the syllabus, and build the genuine confidence they need to succeed.

Techniques & Methodology: I focus on breaking complex STEM concepts into structured, bite-sized steps. My lessons are highly interactive and patient, treating questions as opportunities to build confidence rather than just memorising facts.
Lesson Length: Typically 60 minutes, which allows enough time for a clear concept explanation, a simulated or active practice session, and a progress check-in at the end.
Qualifications & Experience: I am a Microbiology Master's student with top A-Level (A*s in Biology, Chemistry, Maths) and GCSE (Grade 9s) marks. I have hands-on teaching experience mentoring students in university lab modules.
Target Audience: I tutor students preparing for their GCSE and A-Level exams in both Mathematics and Biology.
