About Rehnuma
I am an experienced educator and researcher with a strong background in microbiology, molecular biology, biochemistry, and human anatomy. Alongside my PhD training and active research experience, I have been teaching for several years in post-secondary settings, including medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, pharmacology basics, diagnostics, ethics in healthcare, and laboratory-related courses. This dual role as a researcher and instructor allows me to bridge theory with real-world biological and clinical applications. My teaching approach is conversational, interactive, and highly student-centered. I focus on understanding how each student learns and tailor my lessons accordingly. Rather than relying on rote memorization, I emphasize building strong conceptual foundations, connecting mechanisms across systems, and encouraging students to ask “why” and “how.” I actively use discussion, visual explanations, analogies, and real examples from research, labs, or healthcare to make complex topics intuitive and engaging.
