About Alejandra
¡Hola! Me llamo Ale...
...which is short for Alejandra. I was born and raised in Mexico City, Mexico.
My family moved to the United States when I was 15, where I completed my high school and university education. It's where I started working as a tutor and teaching assistant, and also where I started studying French.
After a successful career as a Television producer in the US - including Spanish-language networks like MTV Latin America - I moved to France to pursue a Master's degree in business.
I lived in Paris for three amazing years, where I continued working as a tutor.
I now live in London, working in communications, and pursuing my next linguistic challenge - becoming fluent in Japanese :)

I believe that becoming fluent in a foreign language can only happen when one is free of fear and full of trust! The more flexible we can be, the more things start clicking.
I like to structure my 1-hour lessons into real-life situations - like when you meet a friend for coffee!
After getting a university degree in French language and Literature, I moved to Paris to pursue a Master's Degree in business, which is why I know that a traditional classroom doesn't prepare you for the realities of living and breathing a foreign language and culture. The more one can practice real-life conversations and cultural idioms, the more your fluency will allow you to truly show your personality.
I would be happy to work with any level student aged 15 and over.
