Community & Volunteering
Volunteered with St Vincent de Paul, contributing to community-focused initiatives.
Participated in activities supporting Rough Edges, gaining experience interacting with and supporting members of the wider community.
Tutoring & Mentoring
I have experience tutoring students from Years 7–12 across Mathematics, Science, English and Business Studies. I have also taken on additional responsibility within tutoring, including working as a specialist Mathematics tutor and progressing into a Head of Mathematics role.
My approach to tutoring combines academic knowledge with the communication and leadership skills developed through my experiences in school, sport, cadets, volunteering and medicine.
I aim to make lessons structured, engaging and personalized to each student's individual needs.

Medicine Interview Training
Applying for medicine and have an interview coming up?
I offer personalized medicine interview preparation for students preparing for university medicine interviews, including MMIs and panel interviews.
Having recently gone through the medical admissions process myself, I understand how unfamiliar and stressful the interview stage can be. The goal of each session is to help you become more confident, structured and comfortable answering questions you've never seen before.
Sessions can focus on:
MMI station practice under realistic time pressure
Ethics and medical scenarios
Communication and empathy stations
Motivation for medicine
Personal and behavioral questions
"Why medicine?" and "Why this university?"
Handling difficult or unexpected questions
Structuring answers without sounding rehearsed
Thinking aloud and communicating your reasoning clearly
Feedback on your answers, communication and body language
Full mock interviews with detailed feedback
Rather than giving you a script to memorize, I'll help you develop frameworks and strategies that you can apply to unfamiliar questions.
Each session is tailored to where you are in your preparation — whether you're just starting out and have no idea what to expect, or you're looking for realistic mock interviews and final feedback before the big day.
Online sessions available.

Vikram was my maths advanced tutor. He is very kind and accomodating, able to explain all concepts clearly. I took online lessons from him. He introduced me to a variety of resources to help me progress outside of classes.
I’ve known Vikram as a close friend for several years, and I can confidently say that he is a patient, reliable and genuinely caring person. He has a great ability to communicate clearly and make others feel comfortable, which I believe is especially important when working with students. He is approachable, supportive and always willing to take the time to help others understand challenging concepts. I’m confident that students and their families will feel they are in safe and trustworthy hands with Vikram.
Vikram is a highly experienced tutor who has helped me in mathematics over the past 3 years. Not only is he determined to help his students, he also has excellent communication skills that can break down the toughest questions into something simple and comprehensible. Highly recommend.
