I take a student-focused approach to tutoring. My goal is to build confidence as well as understanding by making tricky topics feel approachable and engaging. I adapt my teaching methods depending on how each student learns best – whether that’s through step-by-step explanations, diagrams, analogies, or active questioning. I make heavy use of past paper practice, since it's one of the most effective ways to prepare for GCSEs. We work on mastering exam technique and recognising common question patterns, so students feel fully prepared by exam season. A typical lesson is 60 minutes long. I’ve been tutoring GCSE Maths, Biology and Chemistry for over 2 years, and I’ve helped students move up multiple grades through consistent, focused support. I achieved Grade 9 in GCSE Chemistry, Maths and Biology so I know exactly what it takes to succeed in these subjects from a student's perspective.
