As a current M.D. candidate and a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley with a bachelor's degree in Molecular and Cell Biology, I bring both academic expertise and a genuine passion for teaching to every lesson. Throughout my education, I have excelled in rigorous science coursework and developed a deep understanding of biology, from foundational concepts to advanced molecular and physiological systems.
Beyond my academic background, I have extensive experience mentoring, coaching, and teaching students of various ages and skill levels. I take a student-centered approach to tutoring, tailoring each lesson to the individual's learning style, goals, and current level of understanding. My goal is not only to help students memorize information but also to develop a deep understanding of concepts and the confidence to apply them independently.
My lessons typically begin with a brief review of previously covered material and an assessment of any areas of difficulty. We then work through new concepts using clear explanations, diagrams, real-world examples, and practice questions. Throughout the session, I encourage active participation and frequent check-ins to ensure understanding. At the end of each lesson, we summarize key takeaways and create a plan for continued practice.
What sets me apart is my combination of a strong scientific background and extensive teaching experience. As a medical student with a bachelor's degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, I have a deep understanding of biology and related sciences.
