About Eccha
Hi! My name is Eccha Guru. I am 23 y/o and a medical student. I am originally from Austin, TX where I received my undergraduate degree, at The University of Texas at Austin. Throughout my undergrad, I held various teaching assistant roles for my professors, and continued tutoring students within my community. I have a strong passion for learning and continue to evolve by building on my knowledge. I am passionate most about science, the human body, and the power of medicine. My ultimate goal is to make an impact on my community and inspire young students to find joy in learning and discover what their niche is. I would be happy and thrilled to work with you!

My tutoring approach is one that I adjust and refine to meet the needs and learning styles of my students. My goal is to make students feel excited about learning and growing their skill sets, while forming an authentic relationship with them. A typical lesson plan includes a pre-assessment, catered to the student's school curriculum. Then, I will work with the student to address what he/she may be struggling with and potential learning gaps. Each lesson plan varies based on the topics the students request additional help for. During tutoring, I will work through practice problems with the student and introduce students to various tips and tricks. I will always check in with the student throughout the session, to ensure that the learning style is working for them and they are feeling comfortable. I have experience tutoring in various subjects, across all ages 6-22 y/o. Some examples of subjects include math, college sciences, SAT/ACT Test prep, reading/language arts, and college application prep.
