About Jackson
Hi, I’m Jackson. I’m a medical student who genuinely enjoys helping students unlock their potential in science and maths. I know these subjects can feel overwhelming, but I also know that with the right guidance, every student can learn to think clearly and tackle problems with confidence.
I want to teach because I remember what it felt like to sit on the other side of the desk—unsure where to start or why a topic mattered. I focus on building deep understanding, not just memorisation. In each session, I break down tricky concepts into simple, logical steps, using real‑world examples from medicine and science to make them stick. My teaching methodology includes:
Active recall & past‑paper practice – We’ll spend the last 10–15 minutes of each lesson applying what we’ve learned to exam‑style questions.
Personalised explanations – Every student learns differently. I adapt my language, diagrams, and analogies to suit your style.
Progress checks – Quick low‑stakes quizzes at the start of each lesson to reinforce previous material.
Lesson length: 1 hour – long enough to cover a topic in depth, short enough to stay focused.
My qualifications & experience:
I’m a current medical student with 5 A* grades at Cambridge International A‑Level (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and English Literature). I know exactly what examiners look for and how to avoid common mistakes. I’ve successfully helped younger students move from confusion to confidence.
