I am a 3rd year medical student at the university of Auckland. I have been tutoring for 3 years now, since year 12 in high school. I also have tutored for the 4 core papers at the university of Auckland biomed/health science (first year pre-med entrance)

My teaching method is usually going through the content and explaining it in my own words. If the student understands I will move on however if they don’t I’ll explain it in a different way. Also I will always be testing my student with revision questions as the best way to remember information is via active recall
