About Mikayla
I am a biomedical science graduate from Newcastle University and a current offer holder to study medicine at Edinburgh University. I have previous tutoring experience from both School and University. My most proud experience was assisting a pupil having trouble with mathematics, when I met him he had little hope in passing. However, with hard work and finding methods that suited him he passed with a merit.

I aim to be able to assist secondary school ages, 11-16 however given my level of academic qualification I have also previously tutored University students.
First I establish the baseline of their individual information, then evaluate gaps in the knowledge using the relevant syllabus. Followed by working together to find a suitable teaching method that suits the tutee. then, working through the course outline progress to a better understanding and grade.
