About Heidi
I am a medical student and so have recently gone through the exam process, making me empathetic of students and understanding of the stresses experienced. I am also patient, enthusiastic and hard working. I gained 10A*s at GCSE, 3A*s at A level and an A* in EPQ so have an in depth understanding of exam technique as well as the subject content. I have tutored other students at my school before, who gave positive feedback and gained improved results. I have myself had a tutor before for another subject and so know the important skills tutors must offer.

My teaching methods will be based on the individual, as everyone learns differently, to help students meet their goals, whatever they may be. This can range from working through questions, explanations with diagrams or physically demonstrating/ acting concepts out. I will focus teaching on exam specifications (GCSE or A level) as this has been shown to be the most effective way of achieving the highest grades. I will also focus on helping students develop their exam technique and skills so they can tackle any questions thrown at them.
