About Arjun
I am Arjun Jain, a second-year Medical Student and a 2024 Haileybury graduate. My passion for teaching stems from my own journey through the competitive VCE landscape, where I realized that academic success is as much about strategy and discipline as it is about raw talent. Having recently navigated the exact curriculum my students are now facing, I am highly motivated to share the high-performance techniques and study habits that helped me reach medical school.
I pride myself on being a disciplined, reliable, and approachable tutor. Whether I’m training in the gym or studying for my medical degree, I apply a "winner's mindset" to everything I do, and I aim to instill that same level of confidence and work ethic in my students. My goal is to be more than just a source of information; I want to be a mentor who helps students stay ahead of the curve and achieve their ultimate university goals.

I am a second-year Medical Student and a 2024 Haileybury graduate, bringing a high-performance perspective to VCE and secondary school tutoring. My lessons are specifically designed for students who want to master Mathematics (from Year 7 through to VCE Methods), as well as those looking for an edge in Accounting and Business Management.
My teaching methodology is rooted in diagnostic learning: we identify specific weak points early and tackle them with clear, logical explanations rather than just rote memorization. I focus heavily on exam strategy, teaching students how to read between the lines of VCAA-style questions and structure their responses for maximum marks.
Lesson Details:
Techniques: Conceptual deep-dives followed by high-volume practice and marking-criteria analysis.
Resources: I provide custom "cheat sheets," SAC templates, and curated question banks.
Duration: Lessons typically run for 60 to 90 minutes to ensure enough time for both theory and application.
Audience: I cater to junior secondary students (Years 7-10) building foundations and senior VCE students aiming for top-tier raw scores.
My goal is to provide the same structure and discipline that helped me reach medical school, helping every student transform their academic confidence and results.
