Hi! I’m Lavanya. My academic path led me to complete my medical degree, a journey that deepened my passion for science, logic, and structured problem-solving.
Having navigated intensive academic training, I understand how critical a strong foundational understanding in STEM is early on. I believe learning science and math early on should inspire curiosity rather than cause stress. My medical degree background gives me a deep, natural mastery of logic, numbers, and biological sciences, allowing me to simplify complex concepts into relatable, fun lessons for young minds.
Personalized & Interactive Learning: Every child learns differently. I adapt my teaching style to match your child's unique pace and interests, using visual aids, real-life examples, and open questions to keep them engaged throughout the session.
Homework & School Support: I actively assist students with their weekly school homework, assignments, and exam preparation. We turn homework time into an opportunity to strengthen understanding rather than just finishing a task.
Step-by-Step Problem Solving: I guide students through math word problems and science concepts sequentially so they build solid logical foundations rather than relying on rote memorization.
Encouraging Environment: I prioritize patience and positive reinforcement, ensuring young learners feel safe asking questions and making mistakes as they learn.
️Lesson Structure & Duration
Duration: Standard lessons are 1.5 to 2 hours long (can be split between Math and Science upon request). This gives us plenty of time to cover school homework, introduce new topics, and practice problem-solving without rushing.
Typical Flow: We start by reviewing and completing any pending school homework, followed by interactive concept building on target topics, and finish with practical exercises to reinforce what they learned.
