About Kirsty
I am a 26 year old Scottish/Canadian with a bachelors degree in health studies and a masters degree in biomedical sciences! I have had over a years experience tutoring students biology, physics, and chemistry over in Scotland before I moved over to Australia! I love education and sharing my knowledge with others, and creating lesson plans based on the needs of my students!

When approaching a topic, I like to start with a general overview into said topic. Understanding the importance of what you're learning is a key when trying to absorb the information necessary and actually applying it! I have also found that when students are given explanations in relation to what they are learning (whether that means explaining the terminology so it is easier to apply, or giving more information so a person is able to grasp why a given biological process is occurring), they have better comprehension and application of that topic when performing on examinations! Visual learning has always been the best way for me to learn, but I understand that every student is different, and so I like to plan lessons around the students' needs.
