About Haytham

Hi, I’m Haytham! I’m a university student at the University of Nottingham studying Mechanical Engineering. I've always had a passion for designing and problem solving and so I completed A-levels in Maths, Physics, and Product Design and since, I've been tutoring these subjects for over a year now.

I really enjoy working with students and helping them overcome difficult concepts and topics they might find challenging. I’m passionate about making lessons relaxed, supportive, and engaging, and I love seeing students grow in confidence and achieve their goals. I always aim to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. Thank you, I look forward to meeting you!

My approach to tutoring is student-focused and adaptable, aiming to build both understanding and confidence. I start by identifying what the student already knows and where they may be struggling, then tailor each lesson to their needs and learning style. I explain concepts step-by-step, using clear examples and real exam-style questions, and encourage students to ask questions throughout so lessons feel interactive rather than passive.

Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, which allows enough time to review content, practise questions, and address any difficulties without feeling rushed. I have experience tutoring both GCSE and A-level students, including paid one-to-one and group tutoring, as well as tutoring through MyTutor and family members. My lessons are aimed at secondary school students studying Maths, Physics and D&T at GCSE and Physics and Product Design at A-Level. The level of my tutoring does not exceed A-Level, and can adapt to any age group needed.
