About Camila
I have two semesters left of my Mechanical Engineering degree at Kennesaw State University with a current GPA of 3.3. I graduated high school with a 4.5 GPA (due to AP classes) and got a 5 on Calculus AB and Physics II AP exams. I got into multiple Ivy League universities and MIT but decided to stay close to home and take advantage of the Zell Miller scholarship in my state of GA where all my tuition is paid for. I have most experience teaching middle and high schoolers who predominantly speak Portuguese (my first language), but I am fluent in English and Spanish as well. I tutored many children of family friends during the pandemic when kids were struggling with online classes.

Hi! My name is Camila and I love helping others learn! My approach to learning focuses on practice, providing deep knowledge of material, and helping my students learn valuable problem solving skills so they can tackle any problem. I approach my students with compassion and understanding, working with them regardless of their level and with no condescension. I focus on positive reinforcement to help my students develop a love for learning. My lesson plans focus on practice.
