About Manav
I am currently studying at the University if Birmingham under a Mechanical Engineering degree. I have a vast amount of experience in the subject of Maths, through obtaining a grade A in the subject in GCSE's and grade A* in A-Level. My degree i am currently studying also requires an extensive amount of high level mathematical skills. I have no formal experience of teaching students, but have taught my younger cousins who were taking the 11+ exams with the hope to get into grammar schools. Through tutoring my younger cousin in maths for preparation, he was able to successfully get into the Old Swinford Hospital School (OSH) a respected boarding school.

I am able to offer Maths lesson to KS1, KS2 and GCSE students and am able to offer them support in any topics such as algebra, trigonometry and arithmetic. However in order to offer my support i always allow my student to offer the area in which he is working on. As i believe effective communication and flexibility are imperative when tutoring. Therefore there is no strict structure that i follow as each child is unique and require different methods of teaching. I am able to use the lesson as time in a number if ways that is required. I can use it to build up the base knowledge of a topic or to help with them questions on a particular topic they are struggling on once they have understood the topic and need help with the application.
