About Hamza
I am a Mechanical Engineer. It’s not the material, it is the method of learning which sticks. I have 3 years of tutoring experience in Maths and Sciences. I enjoyed and loved every bit of teaching from the younger generation to Engineering students at University.
My previous experience has also taught me not just academic material but self-reflection and the value of passing on knowledge in a way which stays with the student for a lifetime. With my experience, methodology and passion in teaching my previous students enjoyed learning with me which reflected in their amazing results. I do not treat this as a job, for me it is the gesture of giving back to the community and helping those who struggle learning when taught with traditional methods.
In summary I want to be able to improve the way of intaking knowledge for individuals rather than just the material at hand. This can then be applied to multiple subjects and modules. The material is the easy bit to learn, the hard bit is learning how to effectively and efficiently process information and retain it. This is what I personally work on so that my students can not only pass with exceptional marks but enjoy the learning process and understand the core basics to then be able to apply to any situation, problems or subjects in future independently.

My teaching methods are what help the students thrive because I do not teach just for temporary pass marks or exams. I enjoy teaching by giving examples or showing animations and experiments which go beyond the traditional pen to paper method. I believe visually analysing the problem helps set things in to place and give a lesson of a lifetime.
I also enjoy reading history and like to give examples during my lessons as to why and where the problem/name/method etc has come from. For instance the first wheel was invented in Kirkuk in modern day Iraq and without a wheel there will be no cars. Trigonometry was invented by the greeks by a man name Hipparchus or so our records say. I think giving basic background information of where something comes from is not only great for general knowledge but also helps an individual the roots and why it was used. Once someone understands the “why?” then the “how?” makes sense and the story falls in to place. A combination of examples, experiments, visual representation and background/historic information is what I believe is the best way id teaching any material.
As for the material itself, I work based on the individuals learning capabilities and try push them to achieve higher. Initially, dependant upon which grade/level the student is, I would examine their classwork/homework, assignments, mock test/exams to know what material to provide after my classes and give evaluative feedback for future improvements.
