About Julia
Hello! I’m a bilingual tutor studying management at McGill University, eager to help you achieve your academic goals! My tutoring journey began in high school, and I’ve loved connecting with students ever since. I teach Math, French, English, Polish, and Dutch, allowing me to support diverse learners and diverse courses.
Outside of tutoring, I’m passionate about films, books, and traveling, which inspire me to bring creativity into our lessons. My goal is to create a positive, non-judgmental environment where you can feel comfortable and confident in your abilities. Let’s embark on this learning adventure together !

Teaching Methodology and Techniques:
I adapt my teaching to each student's learning style, using interactive methods to keep them engaged. I ensure that math concepts are thoroughly understood before applying them to practice problems, offering tips to enhance their learning experience. The goal is to make math easier, not harder !
Typical Lesson Plan:
Each lesson begins with a review, followed by new content. I explain math concepts and reinforce them with practice problems. I conclude by summarizing key points and setting objectives for the next session, occasionally incorporating a game to make review more fun !
What Sets Me Apart:
As a fluent speaker of French, English, Polish, and Dutch, I can connect with students from diverse backgrounds. Being a McGill University student helps me understand the academic pressures you face, and my peer support experience has made me a patient and empathetic tutor. I aim to create a friendly, non-judgmental environment where every student feels comfortable asking questions and can thrive at their own pace.
